04/13/2010 Grand Canyon, Arizona
So I finally had a chance to travel to the American southwest recently. As the photo shows it is The Grand Canyon as seen from the south rim point of view. As a kid I always remember talking to family members about eventually seeing different parts of the world. The Grand Canyon being one of the highest on my list of places to see. Finally seeing it with my own eyes, it is everything I'd imagine it would be. The vastness is awe inspiring. Unfortunately, I didn't have much time. I only had just close to two hours to walk a couple miles path along the canyon rim or be left behind. So my photos were rushed a bit. The Colorado River is down there somewhere. Will definitely visit again(with much more time next time).
